David R. Baron – Professional Biography
David R. Baron graduated cum laude from Boston College Law School in 1992, after receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree summa cum laude from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1988. From 1992 to 2000, he was an associate at Ropes & Gray in the commercial litigation practice, with a substantial focus on real estate and property tax law. He has operated a solo practice since 2001. He is a member of the Real Estate Bar Association of Massachusetts, American Bar Association, Massachusetts Bar Association, and Boston Bar Association.
Outside his practice, David has been involved in real estate development since 1994, and has been a member of the Jamaica Plain Neighborhood Council since 2006. He is currently chair of the Council’s Zoning Committee.
David was a Lecturer at Law from 2011 to 2015 at New England Law Boston, where he taught Modern Real Estate Transactions.
David is pleased to have been named a New England Super Lawyer in Real Estate every year since 2011.
